YARN
Worsted Weight (4) – 340 Yards
To make the Toque and Scarf pictured I used a full cake of Lion Brand Mandala Ombre but any weight 4 yarn could easily be substituted.

NOTES
- Beginning chain DOES NOT count as a stitch
- This Toque is worked flat and seamed together at the end

SIZING
This Toque pattern was written to fit an average sized 3 – 6 year old’s head. Your finished Toque should measure approximately 10 inches tall and 8 inches wide
- To adjust the height of the toque add or omit stitches from your starting chain
- To adjust the width add or omit any number of the repeated rows
The Scarf is fully customizable, you can begin with any number of starting chains to get your desired length and you can complete any number of rows to get your desired width.
PLEASE NOTE:
Adjusting the dimensions of either the toque or the scarf will change yardage of yarn needed to complete the pattern.
TOQUE
Ch 41
ROW 1
- hdc in the 2nd ch from your hook and each stitch across
- ch 1, turn (40 hdc)
ROW 2
- hdc in the blo of each stitch across
- ch 1, turn (40 hdc)
ROW 3 – 40
Repeat Row 2
When you have completed row 40, fasten off leaving a long tail.
FINISHING
Using the long tail and your yarn needle, seam both edges together using your preferred method, then weave yarn around top hole and cinch closed, tie off tightly to secure. Weave in ends, fold up the brim and enjoy!
SCARF
Ch 181
ROW 1
- hdc in the 2nd ch from your hook and each stitch across
- ch 1, turn (180 hdc)
ROW 2
- hdc in the blo of each stitch across
- ch 1, turn (180 hdc)
ROW 3 – 10
Repeat Row 2
FINISHING
Weave in ends and enjoy!
