NOTES
- Beginning chain DOES NOT count as a stitch
- I used a full skein of Super Saver Stripes in Fruity Stripe and a 5.5 mm hook to make my scarf but you can use any yarn/hook you like
ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS)
- ch – Chain
- hdc – Half Double Crochet
- hdcblo – Half Double Crochet in Back Loop Only
SIZING
My finished scarf measures approximately 60 inches long and 5 inches wide.
It can easily be adjusted:
- To adjust the length of the scarf add or omit stitches from your starting chain
- To adjust the width add or omit any number of the repeated row
PATTERN
Ch 201
ROW 1
- hdc in the 2nd ch from your hook and each stitch across
- ch 1, turn (200 hdc)
ROW 2
- hdc in the blo of each stitch across
- ch 1, turn (200 hdc)
Repeat Row 2 until you run out of yarn or your scarf reaches your desired width, I was able to complete 11 more rows, 13 rows total.
FINISHING
Fasten off, weave in ends and enjoy!
