Materials
- 60 Yards Worsted Weight 100% Cotton Yarn
- 6.5mm Tunisian Hook
Abbreviations (US Terms)
- slst – Slip Stitch
- ch – Chain
- sc – Single Crochet
- tss – Tunisian Simple Stitch
- tks – Tunisian Knit Stitch
Dimensions
- Approx. 7 inches by 7 inches
- The size of this cloth can easily be adjusted, chain any even number of stitches to achieve the length you like and then continue with the repeated Rows to adjust the height
Pattern
ch 24
ROW 1
- pick up 1 loop through the second ch from the hook and each ch to end.
- Work standard return pass.
ROW 2
- *tss, tks*
- Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains
- 1 edge stitch in last stitch, work standard return pass
ROW 3
- *tks, tss*
- Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains
- 1 edge stitch in last stitch, work standard return pass
ROW 4 – 21
Repeat Rows 2 and 3
BIND OFF
Bind off as if you’d be repeating row 2, alternating your hook placement between a tss and tks, do not fasten off, ch 1.
BORDER
Turn your cloth clockwise and sc evenly down the side, place 2 sc in the corner stitch. Continue to sc around the remaining 3 sides, placing 2 sc in each corner, slst to beginning sc. Fasten off and weave in ends!
